KATHUA POLICE SEIZED 20  LITRES OF ILLICIT LIQUOR AND DESTROYED 2200 LITRES OF LAHAN. Kathua, June 18: In  continue drive against illicit liquor, a team of Anti Drug Unit led by Insp. Vishal Kumar Incharge Anti Drug Unit Kathua  conducted a raid at village Barnoti Kathua  in which 2000 litres of raw materials ( Lahan ) destroyed, seized 20  litres illicit liquor on spot and arrested one person namely Veerpal s/o Saroop Lal  resident of Charkan Bishnah at present Barnoti  Kathua who is involed in making and selling  illicit liquor.                In this regard  a case FIR No.162/2020 U/S  48(a) Excise Act stands registered at P/S Kathua against  said accused person.  Further investigation into the case is going on.
