DRUG MAFIA LEADER WHO MANAGED TO EVADE HIS ARREST, CAUGHT
Kathua,
02 June 2020: In a major achievement against Drug peddler a team of Police station Kathua after strenuous efforts succeeded in arresting one person namely Harpal Singh @ Balochi  R/O Ward No 14 Kathua involved in case FIR Number 58/2020 U/S 8/15/29 NDPS act, 3/25 Arms Act who was evading arrest since 05 March2020. He was put under surveillance, technical assistance was taken too, which showed that he travelled to lot of places (Punjab, Jammu) and did not stay in the Kathua town for almost 3 months. The moment he stepped in the town, he was arrested by Kathua police. Further investigation in the case is going on.

Kathua Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace. We request people of the area to come forward and share information about drug peddling or consumption on 100 with Police for the cause. Your identity will be kept confidential.

DISTRICT          POLICE         HEADQUARTER            KATHUA  PRESS RELEASE DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED, 60 GMs OF HEROIN (CHITTA) RECOVERED BY DISTRICT POLICE KATHUA Kathua 16, May: In decisive action against drug menace, District Police Kathua achieved major success when Police party of Police Post Chadwal led by SI Vicky Thappa during   patrolling/Naka duty at Sehswan Morh Chadwal under the jurisdiction of PS Rajbagh intercepted a truck bearing registration No.  JK08A-1816   coming  from Jammu towards Lakhanpur.
