                                                                                                                                                                                                  KATHUA POLICE SEIZED 20 LITRES OF ILLICIT   LIQUOR  AND DESTROYED 4000 LITRES OF LAHAN

Kathua, May 11 :  Reacting swiftly on specific information a raid was conducted by Kathua Police team at Palli ( Kathua) during which 20 litres of illicit liquor was seized along with the utensils used for preparation of illicit liquor and destroyed about 4000 liters of desi lahan on spot. Police arrested a person namely Jatinder kumar s/o Prem chand  resident of Barnoti and a case FIR No.123/2020 u/s 48(a) Excise Act stands registered at P/S Kathua. 
Kathua Police is striving hard to contain drug and liquor menace and shall conduct such raids in other identified areas where such illegal activities are going on. Kathua Police warns all those who are indulging in illicit liquor trade for strict legal action against them and appeal people of the area to come forward and share information about any such illegal activities with Police.
