NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED BY KATHUA POLICE,  CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE RECOVERED.

Kathua May 27: In a decisive action against drug menace, a  team of Police Station Kathua seized  heroin like substance and arrested a notorious drug peddler wanted for spread of drugs in the area. A
team of Police Station Kathua led by  SHO Police Station Kathua on Patrolling/Naka  checkpoint  at Bhagthali apprehended a notorious drug peddler coming from Punjab on his Motor Cycle  bearing registration no. PB08-4595 towards Kathua. He was signalled to stop the bike and during his checking heroin like substance recovered from his illegal possession. The accused namely Vishal Kumar s/o Roshan Lal resident of Ward No 05 Parliwand Kathua is a notorious drug peddler and was  going to sell it among the youths of the area. 
Police station Kathua registered a case FIR no. 133/2020 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act against the accused. Further investigation into the case is going on.

Kathua Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace.
