Kathua, May 20 : Reacting swiftly on specific information a raid was conducted by a Police team of P/S Bani at Village Saili lowing, wherein one Shadi Lal was found involed in preparing illicit Desi liqour in the premise of his house. Police team destroyed Desi Lahan about 500 litres, seized various equipments like plastic drums, Buckets pipes /Utensils used in the distillations of illicit liquor. The accused person fled away from the spot before the police party reached there.

A case FIR No.19/2020 u/s 48(a) Excise Act stands registered at P/S Bani against Shadi Lal s/o Krishan Chand resident of Saili,  Lowang. The search of the accused person is going on.
